-Describe the political ideas of the Great Awakening and the development of revolutionary fervor.
-Analyze the philosophy of government expressed in the Declaration of Independence, with an emphasis on government as a means of securing individual rights (e.g., key phrases such as “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”).
-Explain how the American Revolution affected other nations, especially France.

Create a short video (10 minutes maximum) that explains why the Declaration of Independence was written, what ideas were expressed in the document, and how the American Revolution affected France and other nations.

- You will research the "ripple effect" of the Revolution in order to understand it's significance.
